Tax season is up and running at Vaughn Group! Our software is in for individual and partnership returns and we are ready for your materials. The organizers are printing this week and will be mailed by January 10, 2009.

These have your appointment information – please remember that you can always reschedule an appointment or schedule an appointment if one has not been scheduled for you. Web cam interviews can be arranged through the front desk as well.

We have two new faces this tax season, Linda and Stephanie who will be preparing returns, along with Brian and Judy who have been with us in prior years.  Barbara and Shelley remain the stalwarts at the front areas. Fred, Shirley and Jem are available for your appointments and the final tax decisions in the office.

We have some new disclosure authorization rules this year that are required by IRS in their effort to curb identity theft. Although this may cause inconvenience to some, these new rules are the law and we have to comply. This will require that you sign authorizations before we can provide copies of your returns or other information to your banks, mortgage brokers, financial advisors or others.  Please don’t be offended when we ask for this authorization – it’s the law!
